Oracle Datasource for SQL Server Reporting Service...

Start the Oracle Services





 Oracle Services Listener should be started first


Oracle Service getting Started & shows Success


Start the Oracle Developer as Shown

Connect the respective Oracle DB using User Scott & Password tiger

Select Employees table from the given db and Execute it to check resultset

Get Oracle connection string for creating Data Source in SSRS report

get the Oracle Connection string from Connection Details

 Open  Report from Visual Studio BIDS & start creating Data Source called as OracleDS

test the Connection string from Report to create Dataset

Select the 2 tables, Employees & Department as shown

Using Query Designer, Start creating the Dataset Query which needs to be Binded with tablix table

 

Drag and drop the Fields value into tablix. Run the report
